Our FIRST MANDATE and mission is towards the spay or neuter of all cats, especially those outdoors. To provide those humans who wouldn't otherwise have the means nor inclination for those cats they feed, to use "spay/neuter" facilities. In this process of Trap Neuter & Return, we find ourselves with too large of a collection of kittens needing homes for any one shelter or rescue to field.
So although we are primarily all about the FIX, We seek out those individuals to continue our rescue efforts to give kittens and friendly cats that safe and loving home they deserve. We also transfer to other more capable adoption agencies, or northern rescues, and shelters. Even for one human applicant for just a single feline, we will provide transport.
Our foster parents collectively have around 50-100 kittens of different colors, shapes, and sizes, rare do we have purebreds. Although ALL our kitties are not put up for adoption till spayed or neutered, FVRCCP + FELV, and rabies vaccinated... If ya' just got' to have that BABY kitty, you can FOSTER TO OWN a litter and choose yours, without any fees. We take care of medical bills up to that point while we ask foster homes to supply food and litter.
Entering false information or blanks will be an automatic rejection. After the application and interview and meet-n-greet, adopter MUST have a pet taxi or suitable transport containment to safely take new pet home in. Thank You! :-)
Barn Cats and outdoor cats still require a processed application, and carrier, and site seen, "stick" method of a minimum of 2 to 4wk captivity to prevent simply leaving. We are bound to track live-release and ensure as best we can our feline's survival for our rescue commitments and record keeping.
Our Adoption Process includes the processing of application and contract, an interview, a meet and greet of the cat, we absorb: the cost of background checks, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter of the feline, and their first rabies shot, with a IDEXX snap testing against fiv/felv, and any additional veterinarian treatment required for alteration and to be ready to love you.
We humbly ask at least 1 or more, if not all, of the following to support PK TNRs continued operations:
A). To ask your friends or family to make donations to our charity.
B.) To set up a recurrent automatic BILL PAY from your bank for a mere $5 a month or to our PayPal, or website.
C.) To write a review on our FB page and/or Website.
D.) To refer others who may want to adopt or just to **FOSTER**, or "foster to own."
E.) We also need volunteers to work adoption events.
F.) And finally we are in desperate need of "HOST BUSINESSES" to house an adoption event, or to become "a corporate sponsor" for as a tax exempt nonprofit animal charity, donations are a write off, :) and the only way we can keep getting homes for the homeless kitties.
